Lake Jennings will be open
Friday 5:00 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.
Saturday 5:30 a.m. - 11:45 p.m.
Sunday 5:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Helix is requesting boaters be vigilant when bringing boats to Lake Jennings. The spreading infestation of the invasive, non-indigenous quagga mussel has put all of the region's lakes on high alert. They have recently been discovered in nearby San Vicente Reservoir and several other local lakes.

It is anticipated that there will soon be mandatory decontamination of all water vessels using area lakes, but until that time we are asking for voluntary cooperation to help stop the spread of this organism.

When bringing a boat to Lake Jennings and after leaving the Lake boaters should:

- Flush the engine, bilge and live bait well

- Check to make sure that trailer and boat are free of vegetation and debris

- Power-wash the boat if possible
