Campers must use a tent, tent trailer, truck and camper, a motor-home, or a travel trailer. All vehicles must have current registration and proof of insurance. Camping privileges will be denied for camping units that are unsightly, in a state of disrepair, or with unsightly graphics or paint design.
The Park gate is open Sunday thru Thursday from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 6:00 a.m. thru 7:00 p.m. All other access is controlled by a gate entry keypad for registered campers and their guests. If you anticipate arriving after the gate is closed please call the park office at (619) 390-1623 for an access code. Campers will be provided an access code during their stay to enter and exit as you wish. You may exit by simply pulling within 3 ft. of the gate and it will open for you. Be sure that you have your access code before you leave.
While visiting the park, you can extend your stay or reserve a site for a future date. Just go to the ranger entry station and they will help you with your new reservation.
The minimum stay per reservation is one night Sunday through Thursday. Weekends require a Friday AND a Saturday night stay and holiday weekends require a minimum stay of Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday. The maximum stay is 14 nights within a 6 month period. The earliest you may make a reservation for campsites is one year prior to the first day of your stay.
For online reservations, the latest you may make a reservation for campsites is 24 hours prior to the first day of your stay if sites are available. For same-day reservations, you must call the reservation desk at (619) 390-1623 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. or between 3:00 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Fishing: Lake Jennings Park campers are just a few steps from some of the best fresh water fishing in the County and beyond! Fishing is available from the shore below the campground seven days a week or by boat during regular operating hours (Note: The lake is closed to boating Monday thru Thursday, except holidays). A fishing permit and license are required.
Cancellations: All cancellations or rescheduling can be done online. If you have problems, please call (619) 390-1623. If a reservation is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the arrival date, the camping fees will be refunded less the $8 reservation fee, the $8 cancellation fee and the first night's camping fee. Reservations cancelled less than 7 days in advance forfeit all fees.
Transfers:To transfer or reschedule a site, or change your arrival or departure date, there will be a $5 fee. Transfers are only allowed one time. Transfers or changes cannot be made more than 90 days from the original arrival date.
Campsite Occupancy:A reservation will be made and guaranteed for one camping unit and up to 6 people per campsite. The Supervising Ranger at the Park will determine each site's capacity for additional camping units and will allow such usage as deemed appropriate. Full site fees will be charged for additional units.
A paid reservation entitles the camper to use the site from 1 PM (check-in) until 12 PM the following day (check-out). Reserved sites will be held until 12 PM on the day after the scheduled arrival date. The site will then become available on a first come, first served basis until the next scheduled reservation for that site.
Extra vehicles:The Supervising Ranger at the Park will determine each site's capacity for extra vehicles and permit such usage as space allows. A fee of $2 per extra vehicle will be charged. An extra vehicle is considered a second motorized vehicle that is not towing or being towed by the main camping unit.
Pet Fees: Pets are $1.00 per night.
Reservation Fee: $8.00 per individual reservation. This fee is non-refundable.
