This fall, as part of the District's awareness campaign, Helix held a photo contest for residents who live in the Lake Jennings watershed. The District is proud to announce the winner, Sid Cavey, who lives near the reservoir.

Record bass weighs in at Lake Jennings
Mike Long of Poway caught a 17 lb. 2 oz. Largemouth Bass at Siesta Point. The old lake record was 16 lb. 4 oz

Angler reels in record-breaking Blue Catfish
Rick Guseman caught a 68 lb. Blue Catfish on October 31, 2004. It was the largest fish caught in Lake Jennings’ history.
